Evonik will start marketing specialized hydrogen peroxide (Persynt) and peracetic acid (Peraclean) products in cooperation with Brenntag. The GMP-certified products will be available on the  market from mid-year onwards and target drug, medical products and cosmetics manufacturers. Brenntag will become a distribution partner in many European countries, said the company.

In addition to its existing product portfolio for the cosmetics industry, Evonik is expanding its spectrum for the pharma industry by offering active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) produced on Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
